Baptism - New Beginnings 8/4/24

What a joy celebrating and rejoicing with the new believers. We congratulate this group in making the decision to get baptized choosing to wholeheartedly accept Jesus and publicly declare, their willingness to commit and follow Him. We at Living Waters Tabernacle dedicate ourselves to training them in the word developing disciples of Jesus.

This new existence through faith is recognizable as spiritual rebirth being in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). With a new understanding that this is a lifelong journey of process and progression.

Baptism is such a wonderful experience for those who are doing it and for those that are supporting. We celebrate as a family and community alongside the relatives who get to see their loves one take their next step with Jesus.

Baptism is not the pinnacle of a believer's experience, but it certainly is a highlight.

We pray that the group remains refreshed and regularly experience times of refreshing and renewed joy. May His grace abound in them and living river continue to flow in them and through them. May they surround themselves with godly friends and gain spiritual disciplines. May the joy of the Lord surround and keep them. May this union become stronger as the days go by.
