Fasting Day 5- The Worthy Aroma

Did you know you carry a fragrance to those of us who belong to the Lord?

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?".(2 Corinthians 2:15-16

What does it mean to carry the essence of Christ's fragrance? It's through his love, mercy, forgiveness, justice, and authority.

What an honor to carry the fragrance of the Son in whom the Father delights. Your scent is recognizable to God and the world. To God, it becomes a pleasing aroma, and to the world, it's detestable. When you surrender to temptation, your bond with the divine is compromised, and your spiritual character is defiled, yielding to a foul odor, unless you repent restoring the fragrance of our new life in Christ, allowing its sweetness to prevail.

May today be a powerful reminder that in the midst of turmoil and ungodliness, we must anchor ourselves daily in the truth of our position in Christ. Studying Scripture reveals the majesty of Jesus, allowing us to bear the marks of His glory and spread the beautiful fragrance of His presence by sharing His love and virtue with a world in desperate need of hope.
